I´ve been giving the the Tophatters alot of attention these past few weeks, so I thought it was only appropriate to show the USAF a bit of TLC too. With that I decided to build my Interceptor section, with four all new Deadly Deltas. Two Deuces (32nd FIS, 326th FIS) and two Sixs (5th FIS and 48th FIS). I sure hope you enjoy this batch of colorful sleek cold war Interceptors. As always, these can become available as a print ready to hang on your wall...just drop me a line, if you are interested Click the image below to be taken to the Interceptor section.
By popular demand: a F-106A Delta Dart of the 49th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. This aircraft was assigned to the CO of the squadron, which teh fuselage bands are a tell tale indication of. The 49th was the last active F-106 squadron which kept on flying the ultimate interceptor until 1987. Click the link below to be taken to the 21st Air Division section. The F-106 is now finally complete ! And per request, the 318th FIS is the first incarnation of this new model. After working on the Six for the past many weeks i´ve become to appreciate this elegant aircraft quite a lot, and i can assure anyone out there, that this is not the last F-106 you´ll see from my hand ! I have received many suggestions on what colors to put on this jet, and in time i hope to make them all ! Thanks so much for your support ! Here´s a few detail shots of the F-106 model.
