Canadian Voodoo

A flight of two CF-101B Voodoos from the RCAF is coming back to base after a patrol mission. This piece have been made for the upcoming book about the Century series fighters which will be published in the summer of 2021 via Mortons Books. The idea behind this new 3d art piece was to depic the sometime harch conditions in which the Canadian Voodoos operated. The all-weather capabilities of this huge fighter served the RCAF for many years, and my intentions was to capture the Voodoo in an environment which the aircraft was build for. This piece is available via, simply click the link below.   Print details

Voodoos galore !

I´m happy to annonce that the first batch of Voodoos have now been added to the squadron galleries. And not only that, from now on I can produce renditions of all Voodoo variants, so if there´s a specific Voodoo you like to see depicted, make sure to let me know which one. Below is links to the sections where you can find this first batch of Voodoos. I tried to add a bit of diversity here, so there´s renditions of Voodoos from both the USAF, ANG and RCAF. Let me know how you like em ;) Click the thumbnails below to be taken to to the full size renditions

Happy Hooligans

After completing the F-101B Voodoo it was too much of a temptation to try my luck with a flashy ANG paint scheme. A former Crew chief contacted me asking, me to make a renditions of his former jet that served with the 119th FIG of the North Dakota ANG. When working on it, I thought: Why not do a few more, and then the Deuce joined the One-oh-wonder and later a Phantom joined the gang. Here´s the lot of them, and may i say: They do make a pretty cool trio ! F-102A Delta Dagger, 119th Fighter Interceptor Group, 178th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 1969 F-101B Voodoo, 119th Fighter Interceptor Group, 178th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 1976 F-4D Phantom, 119th Fighter Interceptor Group, 178th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 1984

It´s “aboot” time for a B-model !

Here´s my first try on the CF-101B Voodoo . I originally planed to do one of the special schemes as a first, but settled on this one, for that simple reason it´s pretty cool looking ! I´m not sure how many visitors to this site, that are Canadians, but let me know if there´re some, and how you like this one ;) Thanks

Air National Guard section added

The Air National Guard section is now up and running. I decided to separate it from the Fighter and Interceptor section as it was starting to get a bit crowded there. To celebrate this new section i decided to add a new profile: a RF-4C Phantom of the 153rd TRG, 186th TRS as it appeared in 1989. Make sure to stop by the ANG section by clicking the thumbnail below: F-102A Delta Dagger, 163rd Fighter Interceptor Group, 196th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 1970

First Recce One-Oh-Wonder !

This is my first try with the RF-101C Voodoo. Converting the F-101A to the RF-101C took a few tries, but overall i´m pretty happy with this one. I´m now contemplating which paint schemes to do first, but i´m sure some of you out there can inspire me. With this new USAF Recce jet completed, the TRW section simply need to be added very soon ! The century series…2/3s done

Here´s what the century series a la looks like right now. The F-101 Voodoo is the most recent addition to the bunch and so far only the F-104 and the F-106 is missing. Plans is to keep working on the later versions of the Voodoo, so both the two-seaters and the Recce versions are done. Below is a larger version of the first F-101 Voodoo profile from my hand. How do you like it ?
